What is Wye Contemporary?
Wye Contemporary (previously known as the Herefordshire Visual Artist Network – HVAN) is an artist group, led by artist Gemma Moore with the assistance of a voluntary core group of artists primarily based in the county of Herefordshire. Originally, HVAN was funded in 2023-25 by Herefordshire Council via UKSPF – Shared Prosperity Fund – under the Community Programme stream. Wye Contemporary aims to develop links and act as a support network for artists through exhibitions, workshops and opportunities.
